According to the prestigious New York-based Travel+Leisure Magazine, Jerusalem is ranked second on the list of best cities in Africa and the Middle East – Tel Aviv is ranked number three.
In an annual reader’s poll, the capital was ranked number two in the category Best Cities in Africa and the Middle East. Cape Town received the number one spot on the list.
Readers ranked the cities on characteristics such as sights, culture/arts, restaurants/food, people, shopping and value.
